Ferry Lodge you have the choice of luxury lodge accommodation or the
privacy of Ferry Mans Cottage.
Andre and
Alison had Birds Ferry Lodge purpose built in 2004. It is located on a
terrace overlooking the sea and is surrounded by an unusual landscape of
native forest and pakihi.
There are
beautiful views from the Lodge and it is exceptionally peaceful.
Andre has 15
years experience as a South Island tour guide here in New Zealand,
making him well qualified to answer guest’s questions and offer
assistance with itineraries. Alison spent 15 years as a Catering Manager
in Scotland so is similarly well qualified to deal with the food and
hospitality side of things at Birds Ferry Lodge. She just loves to cook
and with a well equipped kitchen, Aga and a garden full of produce she
has a head start!
After a
holistic massage, soak in the Spa overlooking the ocean before enjoying
fireside fine dining. Relax in the private and friendly atmosphere
taking in the breathtaking sunsets and dramatic scenery. Breakfasts are
legendary and are included in your tariff.
