The lounge/dining room created out of Central Otago schist has a high vaulted ceiling, air-conditioning and is decorated with old farming implements. A wood burner housed in a schist fireplace provides the ambience of a real fire in the winter. The lodge is situated on a no through access road with walking routes to the Cardrona River easily accessible.
